Seven Common Functions In The Use Of Fiber Laser Cutter
Free Stroke
"Free stroke" can also be called "free run". According to the program, when the laser cutting machine finished hole 1 to cut hole 2, the laser head from point A to point B at the same time without light, the process known as "free stroke". And because the laser head in the process of movement will not produce laser, so also known as "free movement".
Leapfrog
"Leapfrog" just as the name implies like frog jump, leapfrog is the laser cutting machine free stroke way. The focus of leapfrog is to shorten the crossing time and improve the efficiency of laser cutting. Because the free-travel approach of early laser cutters required the laser head to do three things: up-translate-down, which took a long time. Later, the improved "leapfrog" free stroke is to complete three actions at the same time, saving time.
Bridge Site
"Bridge Site" can also be called "micro-connection", which refers to the tiny breakpoint on the cutting contour line after cutting. These tiny bridges connect the sub material to the master material, preventing the raw material from being held up by the support rod, causing a collision with the laser head and damaging the laser head.
Automatic Tracing-edge
"Automatic Tracing-edge" means that when the plate is tilted on the worktable, the control system automatically perceives the inclined angle and origin of the plate, and adjusts the cutting process accordingly to make it suitable for the angle and position of the plate, so as to carry out the tracing-edge cutting, to avoid waste. The experimental results show that the laser cutting head can automatically measure the P1, P2, and P3 points of the two vertical edges of the sheet metal starting from P point after the automatic edge tracking function is started. On this basis, the inclined angle A of the sheet and the source of the sheet are calculated automatically.
Automatic Focusing
When a fiber laser cutter is used to cut a sheet, the first step is to focus on the surface of the sheet. Based on different cutting materials, the corresponding position of laser focus has different requirements. The earliest laser cutting machine is usually manually focused. However, due to manual focusing, there are a number of prerequisites to be noted. The focusing process was relatively tedious and was later upgraded to an autofocus laser head.
The so-called "auto-focus laser head" refers to the laser head in the working distance settings, according to the laser head and the distance of the workpiece automatically adjusts the height.
Concentrated Perforation
"Concentrated Perforation", also known as pre-perforation, is a processing technique. The conventional processing technology: point A perforation → contour 1 cutting → point B perforation → contour 2 cutting → ... Concentrated piercing process: After all the holes are cut, the laser head returns to the original cutting contour. Concentrated perforation can avoid the formation of heat accumulation near the perforation point, and re-penetration will not produce an over-burning phenomenon. In addition, the processing efficiency can be improved by concentrated perforation.
Common Cutting
If the contour of the adjacent part to be cut is straight, the angle is the same. Then this can be combined into a straight line, cutting only once, that is, the common edge cutting. Common cutting reduces the cutting length and the number of perforations, which can significantly improve efficiency. As shown in the image, the red edges are common edges and can be cut using common cutting.
